Not since The Blue Lagoon have a model's eyebrows commanded such attention in an acting debut.

Cara Delevingne's distinctive trademark brows rivals Brooke Shield's stand-outs, but to be fair, it's more than just the 21-year-old model-turned-actress' signature look that catches the eye in her first foray into acting with the British short film, Timeless.

Designer frocks tossed aside and her typically glam look downplayed for her first leading role as a young woman whose fiancé is a soldier serving in Afghanistan, Delevingne impresses in this clip, offering glimpses of a dramatic, yet subdued performance.

The snippet opens with the Brit beauty sitting at a dining table with her TV great-grandmother, played by English veteran actress Sylvia Syms, "who was also separated from her partner due to the pressures of war." This shared experience draws the two closer as they navigate the emotions associated with being left behind.

In the made-for-TV movie that will be screened later this year as part of the Playhouse Presents season on British channel Sky Arts, the worried fiancée puts down her breakfast burrito with disinterest to commiserate, "It's unimaginable out there Great Gran, you know? What's going on. What it's like. Sitting there never knowing what's coming. What's going to happen..."

Viewers in the U.K. will have to tune in on June 19. to find out. In the meantime, we welcome all to check out the sneak peek to determine if she has major Hollywood potential or if she should stick to her fabulous day job.
