Sir Mix-A-Lot Performs "Baby Got Back" with Orchestra, 25 Excited Women—Watch Video!

We're hooked and we can't stop staring at this video.

Accompanied by the Seattle Symphony, Sir Mix-A-Lot performed his Grammy-winning hit 1992 rap song "Baby Got Back" to the delight of more than two dozen excited women, who joined him on stage at Benaroya Hall on Saturday, June 6, to shake their butts!

The 50-year-old rapper invited "a couple of ladies" to come up, but Sir Mix-A-Lot does NOT attract your average groupies!

"Lord have mercy!" he said as they lined up, walked up the steps and filled the stage.

The sassy ladies, most of whom were surely in grade school or weren't even born when the wedding-dance floor-favorite single was released 22 years ago, appeared to know every lyric—especially a particularly naughty bit involving an anaconda and a Honda. They were more than happy to scream out the words when Sir Mix-A-Lot held his microphone out for them, as cellists, violinists and horn players from French conductor Ludovic Morlot's orchestra calmly performance soaring and dramatic background music.

The performance by the rapper, a Seattle native whose real name is Anthony Ray, is part of the Seattle Symphony's Sonic Evolution project, in which composers write orchestral compositions inspired by the work of bands and singers from the city.
