The 33-year-old actor and the 35-year-old actress, who are currently shooting their new movie Southpaw in Pittsburgh, stepped out for a quaint dinner earlier this week.
The costars hit up Pittsburgh eatery Meat and Potatoes for a friendly meal. Gyllenhaal sported black track pants and white jersey while McAdams wore a dark green jacket. A source tells E! News the two "loved everything" they ate during the meal. "They actually finished everything!" the source dished.
Despite clearly enjoying their dinner date together, a source tells E! News there's nothing romantic going on between them. They're strictly friends and co-stars.
Meanwhile, a fan snapped a candid photo of Gyllenhaal and McAdams at dinner, writing on Instagram, "Why is my girlfriend Rachel McAdams eating dinner with Jake Gyllenhaal"
As for their new movie Southpaw, Gyllenhaal plays a boxer who fights his way to the top of his sport, only to find his personal life falling apart.
