Can we be so bold as to say that Shailene Woodley has finally defined her signature style, and that these two looks are exactly it?

The Divergent actress went back and forth between full-on glam and more tomboy style during her blockbuster, international premiere round, but now it feels like she's settling into the looks that really speak to her edgy, spirited soul. Colorful, print-heavy, structured fashions that feel both classic and futuristic. We won't attempt to give this look a name (because "Jane Austen-Jetson Fashion" was the best we could come up with), but we will play a little game of which successful getup is best!

At left is the red, black and white Preen cocktail frock featuring a sleeveless top and mostly shapeless bottom. We love the scarlet hue against this fair starlet's skin, but the shape doesn't highlight her fit body as much as it could. A bold pattern almost makes up for that fact, but against option #2, almost isn't good enough.

We are in love with The Fault in Our Stars topper's Antonio Berardi look. The contrasting black-and-white shape hugs every inch of her in a flattering yet not-to-tight way. There's an almost athletic nature to the baseball shirt cut up top, but that's balanced nicely with a girly, built-in peplum piece below.

So the second dress is the winner in our book, but the real message here is that Shailene knows what Shailene likes, and in these cases, it's definitely working. What's your say?
