Recognize Ryan Lewis?
Macklemore's lesser-known musical partner may be a four-time Grammy Award winner, responsible for hit singles like "Can't Hold Us" and "Same Love," but not everyone knows who he is. To test that theory, he asked strangers about Ryan Lewis—but they didn't know they were talking to Ryan Lewis.
Lewis' man-on-the-street segment aired Monday on NBC's Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
Forgoing a disguise, he approached New Yorkers to ask about Ryan Lewis. "I don't really know what he does," one fan admitted. "I know he's like a package deal, though. He comes with Macklemore a lot."
Other self-proclaimed hip-hop fans were asked to identify Lewis in a photo and to rate his appearance. Needless to say, the reactions are priceless.
While he may not be the most memorable producer and DJ, Lewis certainly has a sense of humor!
