Melissa Etheridge has tied the knot!
After the rocker and her partner Linda Wallem celebrated their 53rd birthdays together Thursday, the duo married Saturday at San Ysidro Ranch in Montecito, California, E! News has confirmed.
As Etheridge and the Nurse Jackie creator swapped vows, with the singer wearing a grey suit and her partner in a white dress, guests like Jane Lynch, Rosie O'Donnell, Whitney Cummings, Chelsea Handler, and Peter Facinelli, looked on from their seats.
The intimate ceremony was held outdoors, according to People, where Etheridge sang Wallem an original song that she had written just for her.
All four of Etheridge's children—Bailey Jean Cypher, 17; Beckett Cypher, 15 and twins Miller Steven Etheridge and Johnnie Rose Etheridge, 7--took part in the ceremony.
"True love...so blessed. 'By the power invested in me by the state of California...' Thanks," Etheridge tweeted Sunday morning, posting a photo of herself and Wallem after they said "I do."
The newlyweds have been dating since 2010, with Etheridge announcing the couple's engagement after the Supreme Court overturned the federal gay marriage ban last year.
"It is about family and I love my four kids," Etheridge said on CNN. "I called my now fiancée. I'm looking forward to marrying my partner of three years we've been together. I'm going to get married in the state of California. I woke [the kids] up this morning telling them the Supreme Court ruling on DOMA…I love everybody out there. It's a great day."
