Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin may have announced that they were calling it quits in March, but it seems like the two have been closer than ever since consciously "uncoupling."

To be fair, these two made it clear when they revealed they were breaking up that they were doing so on good terms, saying, "We have come to the conclusion that while we love each other very much we will remain separate."

Sounds as amicable as it can get, right?

The Oscar-winning actress and her Coldplay frontman hubby did their best to keep their relationship out of the public eye during their more than ten-year marriage, however, since they've split the two seem more comfortable than ever around each other.

Case in point: Just as they released the statement that they were going solo, E! News learned that they had taken their kids on a family vacation in the Bahamas in order to get away from the hoopla.

There are friendly exes, and then there are exes that you catch up on R&R with on the beach while you reveal to the world that you're splitting.

But that's not the only proof that these two are possibly better after breakup. Let's review the other evidence, shall we?

Weeks later the Goop founder was spotted leaving an almost two-hour dinner with Martin at Giorgio Baldi in Santa Monica.

The duo "laughed and shared some wine" during their meal before sneaking out the back around 10 p.m.

And even though they no longer live together, the exes shared a car on their way to their respective homes. Because that's the green and friendly thing to do, right?

Paltrow and Martin were then spotted just weeks later grabbing a late bite to eat at West Hollywood hotel Chateau Marmont.

Once again, they left in the same car (with the Grammy-winning crooner behind the wheel), but both appeared to have taken off their wedding bands for the evening outing.

And when it comes to discussing what went wrong in their marriage with press, both have taken the high road by keeping things positive and, well, vague.

During his first post-split interview, Martin gave BBC Radio 1's Zane Lowe some insight as to how his relationship inspired his new album, Ghost Stories.

"I don't want to go through life being scared of it, being scared of love, being scared of rejection, being scared of failure," he explained.

"If you can't open yourself up, you can't appreciate the wonder inside. So you can be with someone very wonderful, but because of your own issues you cannot let that be celebrated in the right way."

Then just this week, in the latest Goop newsletter, Paltrow selected one of Coldplay's songs for her four must-listen tracks of the week.

Considering these two stayed quiet about their marriage and were rarely (to say the least) seen together in public over the last decade, it's pretty impressive how openly close they are since splitting!
