HBO/John P. JohnsonWell, she got it. This is her comeback…again. The Comeback is returning to life nine years after HBO canceled the Emmy nominated comedy starring Lisa Kudrow as Valerie Cherish, a sitcom star whose return to the TV spotlight in a new show was being chronicled for a reality show.
The show also featured some people whom you have heard of: Twilight star Kellan Lutz and Trophy Wife's Malin Akerman. The beloved comedy lasted only a season, but continued to reel in new viewers by word of mouth. The ultimate comeback is happening this fall in the form of a six-episode new season and it's safe to say we DO want to see that.
"It was almost too fun [to] play Valerie Cherish the first time around," Kudrow said in a statement. "I look forward to revisiting this resilient and ironically self-unaware character."
