Can we please get a round of applause for Bones? Why? Because the Fox hit was able to deliver one of its best cliffhangers ever nine seasons in, leaving us counting down the days until its return in the fall. (Who needs summer?!)
But fans should be prepared for "a lot of changes," Emily Deschanel warns in our exclusive video below, which features executive producers Stephen Nathan and Jonathan Collier dishing on the arresting (See what we did there?) season nine finale...
"It leaves a big cliffhanger at the end," Deschanel says of the season nine finale's closing scene, which finds Brennan being brought in for questioning as Booth lies on operating table in the hospital after being shot. "It brings a lot of changes for our characters, especially going into Season 10."
Boreanaz adds, "We leave off with Booth is fighting for his life and we don't know what the deal is as far as his health is concerned."
