Kanye West wasn't the only man who played a prominent role when the rap star got engaged to Kim Kardashian last year.
Kim was memorably wearing a dress by Valentino when Kanye popped the question in epic fashion, and the designer will play another key part as the betrothed couple get closer to becoming Mr. and Mrs. Kimye.
Valentino Garavani is throwing a brunch for Kim, Kanye and the bridal party on Friday at his castle just outside of Paris, a source tells E! News.
The Château de Wideville, purchased by the Italian fashion icon in1995, sits on 120 acres and has room for 1,000 guests, let alone those close enough to Kim and Kanye to merit an invitation.
Kim said "yes" to Kanye on Oct. 21 while wearing a ripped-from-the-runway blue and white Mikado embroidered minidress that retailed for $9,900.
She also prominently modeled Valentino's handiwork at the opening of his Beverly Hills store in 2012.
Loved one by loved one, the Kardashian-Jenner family is jetting across the pond for the Kimye nuptials. Khloé Kardashian and Kylie and Kendall Jenner flew out from Los Angeles yesterday, while Kourtney Kardashian and mother of the bride Kris Jenner were already enjoying the sights—including the biggest of 'em all, the Eiffel Tower—in the City of Light.
Today, Kim made a stop at Givenchy with Kourtney and daughter North.
We can't wait to see this group all together—and in wedding gear!
