When it came to getting pregnant again, Halle Berry didn't think she had a prayer.

"I didn't think it was possible at my age, honestly," the 47-year-old Oscar winner said while talking about her 7-month-old son Maceo during an appearance on Monday's The Ellen DeGeneres Show. "They call it a geriatric pregnancy."

She added, "I was, you know, on my way...this is probably way TMI, but I was really, you know, kind of premenopausal, so to have this happen was huge."

And it seems as if Berry's six-year-old daughter Nahla may have had a bit of a hand in making this little miracle happen.

"She prayed and prayed for him for like a year and a half, for a baby and a bunk bed, and she got both of those things," the actress recalled to Ellen DeGeneres. "Only her prayers could have done this."

Berry and husband Olivier Martinez welcomed Maceo last October.

"They chose it because it means gift from God," a source told E! News of their son's name.
