Edie Falco is best known for The Sopranos, and currently, as the titular character on Showtime's Nurse Jackie.

But that wasn't always the case.

While appearing on Thursday's Chelsea Lately, the Emmy-winning actress was asked by host Chelsea Handler, "I heard your first job out of school was being a clown?"

"Thank you so much for brining that up," Falco replied. "Actually, it wasn't my first job. It was one of many jobs that I had that make me grateful every day for the life that I have now. But yeah, I was many different things."

She continued, "I was a Cookie Monster at weddings. I had to wear a big, giant head and get people out on the dance floor, something that I hate when people do it to me."

But wait, there's more!

"I played Betsy Ross, where I had to sit as a table centerpiece while people ate all around my dress," she shared.

How patriotic.

Weird. But patriotic nonetheless.
