Debby Ryan may have just turned the big 2-1, but the young starlet already has quite the impressive career under her belt.
The Jessie star and lead singer of Never Ending celebrated her birthday earlier this week with a total hairstyle-180—saying goodbye to her signature red hue and embracing a very light platinum blonde tint. Her new hair color is featured in her band's new music video "When the Dark Falls," a clip of which the starlet shared on her Instagram. The band's first full length album entitled "One" is due out June 24.
Ryan's is currently on the May/June cover of Annex Magazine, in which she also embraces an edgier look in favor of her otherwise squeaky clean image. She spoke candidly with the magazine about the expectations that accompany Disney stardom, saying "An ABC sitcom star can post a picture with a red cup in the background, and nobody would say anything, but if a Disney star did that, there would be controversy."
Ryan has been playing Jessie Prescott, a teen nanny in New York City, on the Disney original series since 2011. She's stared in other Disney productions like The Suite Life on Deck and the made-for-TV movie 16 Wishes.
