Twinning!

Demi Lovato wowed the crowd in Buenos Aires, Argentina on Tuesday, performing as part of her Neon Lights Tour. But prior to taking the stage, she received a backstage visit from an extra special guest: Avril Lavigne!

The 21-year-old pop star's bestie seemingly surprised the star and even stayed to watch the show. Of course, the two couldn't help but snap a photo together, which is all too adorable thanks to their matching hairstyles.

"Backstage Twinzies with my Girl," Avril captioned the pic in which the two are both sporting leather jackets and posing side-by-side, showing off their half-shaved haircuts.

Lavigne posted another close-up shot in which Demi's sported bright red lipstick and Avril's making a kissy face, and the two look cute as can be as the pose together.

After the show, the 29-year-old singer congratulated her pal via Twitter, writing, "Great show tonight @ddlovato in Buenos Aires !!" to which Demi replied, "I [heart] you! Thank you for coming!"

Demi is currently in Chile for her tour and is expected to perform in Ecuador on Saturday before she heads to Panama City on Monday. Meanwhile, Avril is also in the midst of her own tour, and will take the stage in Chile just one day after Demi.

Clearly, the brunette beauty is enjoying her time on stage, taking to Twitter recently to thank her loyal Lovatics for their support. "Every show has been amazing so far.. Thank you Buenos Aires for being such a great audience tonight!!," she wrote on Tuesday.

In addition to her tour, Lovato most recently made headlines after she appeared on the cover of Cosmopolitan for Latinas and revealed that she doesn't have a type.

"I have [dated Latinos], but it's not important to me—I don't have a nationality preference," the singer says in the latest issue of the mag. "I don't really have a type. I don't think that you fall in love with someone for their clothes or their style. For me, it's about the person."

Get in line, fellas!
