Kim Kardashian is a vision in white!
The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star isn't married to Kanye West quite yet, but she did look a bit like a buttoned-up bride Wednesday at the University of Southern California Shoah Foundation 20th Anniversary Ambassadors for Humanity Gala.
Kim, wearing a cream Lanvin skirt, Alexander McQueen blouse and Balmain blazer, came out to the event to show her support for for survivors of the Armenian genocide. She Instagrammed a picture of herself alongside Yevnige Salbian, the "most inspiring 100 year old Armenian genocide survivor" that was seated next to for the evening.
Bruce Springsteen, Rita Wilson, Octavia Spencer, Samuel L. Jackson, Jessica Capshaw and Conan O'Brien also came out to honor the survivors of the 1915 genocide and hear the testimonies of those who survived. For Kim, it's especially important to recognize this tragedy because of her own paternal heritage.
Last April, Kim explained in a blog post how "incredibly proud" she was "of my Armenian roots and that is why it is so important for me to spread the word about the Armenian Genocide."
"My thoughts and prayers will always be with all my fellow Armenians," she wrote. "I will never forget the fear and pain this has caused my ancestors and those close to me and will continue to do everything in my power to educate those around me so that there is a truthful and just resolution of the Armenian Genocide. I love my heritage so much, this will be a part of me forever."
