TwitterDr. Jennifer Arnold and hubby Bill Klein of TLC's The Little Couple renewed their wedding vows in a romantic beachside ceremony in Galveston, Texas.
The couple announced the news Tuesday on Twitter, and shared photos.
Jen tweeted a picture of the ceremony writing, " I couldn't keep a secret anymore! @ReallyBillKlein surprised me with best B-Day present ever- #renewingourvows!"
She also shared a photo of Klein's surprise proposal on Twitter with the caption: "Can't believe he proposed again! Invited family & friends from all over to celebrate with us! #BestHusbandEver @TLC."
The vow-renewal ceremony took place on April 27, six years after the couple first walked down the aisle.
Klein's romantic gestures were a delightful surprise for Arnold, who's had a challenging past few months.
In December the mother of two revealed she had cancer. Two months later, Arnold announced she had finished her treatments.
The neonatologist developed a mass in her uterus after a failed pregnancy and, following surgery to remove the mass, contracted pneumonia.
TLC continued to film The Little Couple while she was undergoing treatment and she shared the experience with viewers.
The wedding renewal will also be shown on TLC during the show's season finale in June.
