Is Adam Levine really having more fun as a blond? Well, his fellow Voice coach and BFF Blake Shelton sure is!
The Maroon 5 frontman stole the show on Monday night's episode of The Voice with his fun new platinum 'do, which he debuted on Twitter over the weekend.
But when E! New caught up with Adam and Blake after the NBC reality hit's Top 6 performance show, Adam seemed to have some regrets over his new look, which kept sending Blake into a fit of giggles.
"There are so many things to talk about. There are are so many important things going on in the world," Adam said when we asked what prompted his bold new 'do. And as you'll see in our interview above, Blake could just not stop laughing, doubling over while Adam was speaking.
But Adam wasn't thrown off by the Country crooner's giggling, as he continued, "I didn't know anybody would be so fixated on this. I wanted to do something crazy. I don't know why I did it. I really couldn't tell you logically there was a reason. I just wanted to do it and honestly, it's so much of a headache now I might want to shave my head or something."
Don't worry, Adam was eventually able to get in some laughs at Blake's expense as well when he pulled out am embarrassing old photo of him from back in the day, so make sure to watch our interview with the coaches above to see the hilarious moment go down!
And though Levine's blond look attracted a lot of attention on Twitter, both good and bad, he doesn't seem too concerned about the response, tweeting, "I hope people understand that when they say my hair looks creepy i take that as the highest compliment."
Still, Adam's new look definitely has at at least one fan: Adam's fiancée Behati Prinsloo. "She loves it. She loves the hair," People's former "sexiest man alive" told us.
