They say there's a first time for everything and although this is not Lupita Nyong'o's first time in Prada, it is the first time that we didn't instantly love her look. The flapper-inspired frock is a fair cry from the stunning blue gown—also designed by the Milan-based label—that the Oscar winner donned to the Academy Awards back in March.
In fact, as much as we love the actress, we can't deny that this ensemble probably deserves a spot on the worst dressed list. And let's be honest, what really pushed it to the top of said roundup is definitely the matching headband.
But hey, it happens to the best of us, right? Lupita (and her stylist Micaela Erlanger) can't win ‘em all. Plus, they've had a pretty incredible run this year already so this is surely just a fluke.
