Let's not jump the gun, Life & Style.

The tabloid reported Sunday that Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are "now married on paper" after obtaining a marriage license in California. However, a source tells E! News that it's "not true" that the Keeping Up With the Kardashians reality star, 33, and the "Black Skinhead" rapper, 36, are legally wed.

What's more, they haven't even applied for a marriage license yet! Per another insider, the soul mates will "have a civil ceremony to acquire their marriage license" in the U.S. before tying the knot in Paris.

Before Kardashian walks down the aisle, however, she has another big event to prep for: the Met Gala! North West's parents arrived in New York City Sunday, and they are expected to attend Monday's ball.

Unlike Kardashian's August 2011 wedding to Kris Humphries, her nuptials with West will be more intimate. "I think people will be surprised by the size," an insider recently told E! News. "It's not going to be as massive as everyone thinks. It won't be a tiny affair, but there won't be 1,000 people either."

During a Jan. 23 appearance on ABC's Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Kardashian revealed that her future hubby has been heavily involved in the wedding planning process. "I know they think or they say that the guy doesn't care or just shows up, but Kanye really cares and he's really passionate about it, so that makes my job so much easier," the bride-to-be said. "He knows what he wants and I love that about him."
