Mick Jagger paid musical tribute to his late love today in New York City.

The Rolling Stones frontman sang "Just Like a Woman" at a memorial for L'Wren Scott attended by close family and friends of the designer at St. Bartholomew's Church in Manhattan, according to information released by a rep for Jagger.

Scott committed suicide in March at the age of 49.

Sarah Jessica Parker, Ellen Barkin and fashion scene fixture André Leon Talley were among the mourners who gathered to celebrate Scott's life in her adopted home of New York. A private funeral previously took place at Hollywood Forever Cemetery in Los Angeles.

Fashion journalist Cathy Horyn and sculptor Rachel Feinstein also joined Scott's brother, Randy Bambrough, his daughter, Hannah; Mick's son James Jagger and grandchildren Mazie and Zak, both of whom read Psalm 23.

R&B artist Lisa Fischer sang "Amazing Grace" and Hannah and James shared poems.

The service was officiated by Rev. Lynn C. Sanders. A private reception was held afterward.

Scott died March 17, having hanged herself in her Manhattan apartment.

"We spent many wonderful years together and had made a great life for ourselves," Jagger later wrote on Facebook. "She had great presence and her talent was much admired, not least by me. "I have been touched by the tributes that people have paid to her, and also the personal messages of support that I have received."

The Rolling Stones had been in Australia and immediately suspended their tour while Jagger flew to the U.S. Their 14 on Fire tour is scheduled to resume May 26 at Telenor Arena in Oslo and they have since added new dates— including June 4 in Tel Aviv—since their original itinerary was announced.
