Judge Judy is ready for her close-up!

Daytime's most iconic TV judge is heading to primetime in her very own CBS special.

The network is set to pay tribute to Judge Judy Sheindlin with a one-hour special, appropriately titled Judge Judy primetime, on Tuesday, May 20 at 8 p.m.

CBS tweeted about the special on Wednesday, writing that Judge Judy "brings her wit + no-nonsense style of justice 2 primetime." Judge Judy also tweeted about the tribute, saying, "Don't miss out."

Judge Judy Primetime will feature clips from the 60 Minutes profile on her that ran in 1993, which was how Hollywood discovered her, as well as excerpts from the 2003 follow-up story. The special will also feature new cases and highlight Judge Judy's "no-nonsense, tough but fair approach to justice" and her classic "Judyisms," CBS noted in a press release.

Judge Judy became a daytime staple when she transitioned from New York Family Court to her top-rated show debuted in 1996.For the last three years, Judge Judy has been the No. 1 show in its first-run syndication and No. 1 in daytime for four consecutive seasons.

Judge Judy Primetime airs Tuesday, May 20 at 8 p.m. on CBS.
