Decked out in a lovely Oscar de la Renta dress, the Oscar winner seemed to color-coordinate perfectly with the former Olympic swimmer as they posed for pictures on the red carpet together.
Princess Charlene received the Champion of Children Award in recognition of her charity work in Europe and her native South Africa.
Rizzoli & Isles star Angie Harmon served as host for the event.
Meanwhile, Witherspoon took part in a much different event just a few days earlier, when she helped Kate Hudson celebrate her 35th birthday.
The bash was a star-studded affair with the likes of Nicole Richie, Jessica Capshaw and Demi Moore also in attendance, as well as Hudson's fiancé Matt Bellamy.
"Everyone was dancing and having the best time. Kate and Matthew seemed totally in love. They held hands and kissed throughout the night," an eyewitness told E! News. "It was a really fun night, everybody had a blast."
