Ballroom or battlefield? Sometimes it's hard to tell on Dancing With the Stars!

Over the course if its 18-season run, the ABC reality hit has seen more than its fair share of injured celebs—from fainting to falling, broken ribs to bum knees, many stars have danced their way through the pain in order to achieve DWTS glory.

But is it just us or does Season 18's cast seem much more injury-prone than previous season's batch of celebs?!

During this week's show, Amy Purdy was unable to perform her second routine of the night after she was hospitalized for a shoulder injury she sustained during her first performance with Derek Hough.

"So, Looks like I have a rib out of place and my muscles are in spasm," Purdy later tweeted. "I am being very proactive in healing up so I can continue this journey."

However, Purdy isn't the first celeb to almost be sidelined by a broken rib this season as Wonder Years star Danica McKellar also broke one during a rehearsal session with Val Chmerkovskiy on Friday. "So...I broke a rib in yesterday's #DWTS rehearsal," McKellar revealed on Twitter. "Trying my best to pull thru and could use your prayers!! #wanttokeepdancing."

And prior to Purdy and McKellar's injuries, another Season 18 celeb was actually forced to leave the show in only the second week of the competition due to chronic back pain.

Look back on all of DWTS' biggest injuries over the years in our gallery below. Plus, find out which celebs (and pros!) were actually able to continue on in the competition and which ones were forced to quit!
