This week's episode of Giuliana & Bill is all about giving back: Giuliana Rancic speaks at the Italian Embassy and joins husband Bill Rancic as he runs the first of several charity-based marathons, and Bill makes a cancer survivor's biggest wish come true.

Bill and son Duke Rancic are in the middle of playtime when a special visitor comes by: the ice cream man!

Later on, Bill tells Giuliana about an email he received through the Fab-U-Wish Foundation from a young boy named Adam who is a brain cancer survivor.
Because Adam doesn't have a dad, he says that he wishes Bill could be his dad for a day. Bill decides to help make that wish come true!
Giuliana also has some news to announce: she's been invited to speak at the Italian Embassy in Washington D.C., and her parents have asked her and Bill to stay with them when they are in town.
Back in Chicago, Bill meets up with several trainers to discuss the upcoming marathon he will be running in.
Bill is also planning to do a training run for the Kidney Cancer Foundation in order to prepare himself for the big race. This holds special meaning for Bill because the fund serves as a tribute to his late father, who also had kidney cancer.
The next day, Bill meets up with Adam and his mom. They are extremely surprised and happy!
After lunch, Bill announces that he has several surprises for Adam.
As he unwraps his gifts, Adam is delighted to discover several architecture-themed building kits!
The conversation takes a more serious turn as Adam's mom recounts her son's numerous surgeries to Bill, explaining the severe pain that he was in.
But despite all of the hard times, Adam never missed a single day of school and Bill even compares his strength to that of a Navy SEAL!
There's still one more surprise left...
Giuliana shows up with baby Duke, who has come to meet Adam. Everyone poses together for a nice group picture!
Later, Giuliana and Bill reflect on their meeting with Adam. Bill wants to do something more for him and decides to start a college fund for Adam. How thoughtful!
Giuliana also mentions that she wants to find a design space for her clothing brand, G by Giuliana, so Bill offers to put her in touch with a commercial real estate broker who knows all of the good listings in the area.
Next, Giuliana and Bill have a speaking engagement at the Pink Ribbon Luncheon, which raises money for breast cancer.
Giuliana shares her personal story about her successful battle with cancer to inspire others.
It's Emmys time! Giuliana is busy interviewing stars on the red carpet, including Sofia Vergara and Julia-Louis Dreyfus.
But she's getting nervous about her upcoming speech at the Italian Embassy...
Bill, Giuliana, Duke and Bill's sister Karen arrive at Giuliana's parent's house in Washington D.C. where they will be staying during their trip.
Giuliana is excited to bring Duke to her childhood home while Bill is concerned that it's going to be a bit cramped...

The next morning, Giuliana and Bill wake up early to participate in a charity run—Bill's training run before the big one.
They make their way to the finish line!
Back at Giuliana's parent's house, her mom cooks up a big Italian feast for the family. She also gives Duke his first gold chain!

After dinner, Giuliana and Duke decide to play the piano together.

It's Giuliana's big day at the Italian Embassy!
Slightly nervous, Giuliana stammers in front of the room for a few seconds as she starts her speech.
But she quickly pulls it together and does an amazing job, making her parents and Bill proud!
Upon her return to L.A., Giuliana's friend Robbie accompanies her to check out some spaces for her clothing line. She knows that she can count on him for the truth.
The first place they visit is in a great location but is super small.
Robbie immediately gives his opinion on the space.
Giuliana falls in love with the final location but the price is hefty. When she goes home to talk to Bill about it, Giuliana attempts to talk him into the place by pointing out that it comes with seven parking spaces.
But Bill has one more question for her...
Giuliana eventually agrees with Bill that the space is not within their budget, so she decides to put her project on hold until she figures out the next step in her business plan.
On next week's episode, Duke takes his first steps, the family takes a road trip and Giuliana goes topless? Guess you'll have to watch next week to find out!
