Looks like Sarah Silverman and boyfriend Michael Sheen can carpool to work!

The funny girl has been tapped to join the second season of Showtime's smash series, the premium cable network announced Monday. The Emmy award-winning actress will join Masters of Sex as Helen, a recurring character who will appear in many of the series' 12-episode sophomore season.

Although the details surrounding Silverman's character are being kept under wraps, we wouldn't be surprised if the comedic superstar appeared opposite her real life beau Michael Sheen. Rumors started swirling in February that Silverman and Sheen were an item after they were spotted together shortly after the actor celebrated his 45th birthday in Los Angeles.

The power couple then seemed to confirm their relationship status a few weeks later when they were snapped holding hands and looking très adorable together.

Silverman also slightly resembles series star Lizzy Caplan, so you never know—perhaps Virginia has a cousin coming to town…

Masters of Sex quickly became a fan favorite series in 2013 and received Golden Globe and WGA nominations and was named one of AFI's top TV programs of the year. The period drama created by Michelle Ashford and stars Sheen and Caplan as famed researchers William Masters and Virginia Johnson.

Masters of Sex's second season premieres Sunday, July 13 at 10 p.m. om Showtime.
