The actress put romance rumors to rest at the Tribeca Film Festival premiere of Just Before I Go, her directorial debut. Wearing an Isabel Marant dress and Jennifer Meyer jewelry, the filmmaker pointed to the diamond ring on her engagement finger. "This is not...the question at hand!" she told E! News Thursday. "That I've worn forever!" She then joked, "Don't look at my hands! They look horrible!"
The interest in Cox's love life pales in comparison to the early buzz surrounding her movie. "It's perfect for my personality," she said of getting behind the camera. "I had a great cast, a great script. It was a great experience in every way." The movie stars Seann William Scott, Olivia Thirlby and Kate Walsh.
Afterward, the cast and crew headed to The Flatiron Room to toast the screening with Bombay Sapphire. "Courtney and Johnny were very sweet together and very touchy-feely," a source says. "He constantly had his hand on her hip or she would put hers on his chest when they spoke. They seem really happy."
