Once upon a time, there was a horrible urban legend that stated that you weren't allowed wear white after Labor Day. Women locked their bright whites into storage for months at a time, only wearing them during a small period of time each year. Luckily, this rule was meant to be broken.

Wearing all white has never looked hotter! No matter what time of year it is, ladies are rewriting the fashion "rule book" and putting their style choices into their own hands by rocking the color from head-to-toe! Here are a few of our favorite all white ensembles that will inspire you to try the trend for yourself!

A little rain wasn't stopping singer Kylie Minogue from wearing her all white getup!

We're loving all the intricate details of this dress. Between the crisp collar, the lace cutouts and side pockets, this is a piece that we immediately want hanging up in our closets!

Luckily, this Casey dress by Catherine Maladrino is an awesome way to get the look for less!

Separating the white with a midriff-bearing crop top is a really simple way to wear this trend without the color being overbearing.

While at the ESSENCE Black Women in Hollywood event, Lupita Nyong'o wore this matching cream two-piece outfit that left the crowd speechless. But really, would we expect anything less from People Magazine's Most Beautiful Woman? We love that she even chose a cream color for the shoes!

We found a great version of this complete outfit from SHOPBOP!

How is it that even when she is completely covered, Kim Kardashian still looks this sexy? Her white turtleneck leaves little to the imagination with a mere peek of Kim's bra (does someone spot another Fabulist trend here?), she pairs it with a body hugging skirt and confidence that goes on for days.

In order to wear white like this (and not feel as if all eyes are on your chest), try pairing this white blouse with this white skirt—both from Zara! It's a safer street style look that allows you to still look effortlessly perfect in white!
