Johnny Depp made sure Amber Heard had a birthday to remember.
The 3 Days to Kill starlet turned 28 on Tuesday and spent the special occasion—as well as the days leading up to it—with her fiancé in New York City.
So, how did the handsome duo celebrate? For starters, the longtime lovebirds made a nighttime visit to Bauman Rare Books in Midtown.
The birthday girl opted for a rocker chic look, sporting a dark gray printed T-shirt, black skinny jeans, black booties and a cropped leather jacket. The blond beauty wore her hair in a braided updo for the evening excursion.
The Transendence actor looked casual in ripped jeans, a black T-shirt paired with a white dress shirt, a brown leather jacket and his trademark fedora. Depp also held on to a single rose, probably belonging to his ladylove.
According to the bookstore's website, the Big Apple landmark offers a wide-ranging selection of rare books and autographs.
Before Heard's birthday, the engaged pair was most recently spotted strolling hand-in-hand on Monday as they left their NoHo neighborhood hotel for dinner at Italian restaurant Il Buco.

Depp, who met Heard on the set of their 2012 film The Rum Diary, couldn't help but gush about his future wife during a recent interview with Today.
"She's a wonderful girl," Depp said about Heard, who next stars in London Fields. "She's sharp as a tack. A southern belle and sweet as can be, and very good for me."
