And then, there were ten.

Tonight's live elimination episode of The Voice kicked not one, but two singing hopefuls out of the Emmy award-winning competition. Host Carson Daly proudly revealed that every single one of the artists' performances from Monday night charted on iTunes in some way, shape, or form. (Huge kudos to Josh Kaufman who reached No. four on iTunes last night!)

But before we found out who was eliminated, fans were first treated to the musical stylings of Team Adam's wildly impressive performance of "Sledgehammer" and Team Blake's catchy rendition of "Put Some Drive in Your Country." If that didn't get put a smile on your face, Shakira also took the stage to sing her new single "Empire" from her self-titled album.

After all of the toe-tapping Voice performances, Carson revealed that TJ Wilkins, Tess Boyer and Dani Moz were this week's bottom three contestants. So who got the boot? Say goodbye to…

TJ Wilkins and Dani Moz!

Each of the bottom three singers took the Voice stage in hopes that America would save them from the dreaded elimination. Unfortunately TJ's performance of "I'll Be" and Dani's rendition of "Turning Tables" could not beat out Tess' jaw-dropping version of "Darkside."

When it came down to the final numbers, Tess sang her way into safety with an impressive 42 percent of America's Twitter votes.

Are you happy that Tess is still in the competition? Who do you think has what it takes to be the next winner of The Voice? Sing your thoughts in the comments below!
