The premium cable network announced Monday morning that both Veep and the new freshman series Silicon Valley have been renewed for an additional season.
That's right, the ballots have been counted and now fans can enjoy Julia Louis-Dreyfus' Emmy award-winning performance as Selina Meyer in a fourth season. (Where's Gary? Tell him we want champagne. Right now.) Fingers crossed this renewal means that viewers will be following Selina on her official campaign trail as her quest for the coveted POTUS position creeps closer and closer.
It will also be interesting to see which direction Office Space's Mike Judge will take the genius cast of Silicon Valley in its sophomore season. Partially inspired by Judge's own experiences as a Silicon Valley engineer in the late '80s, the series is a collaboration between Judge and Seinfeld's Alec Berg.
The series premiered on Sunday, April 6, and the debut snagged a respectable 2.5 million viewers following the kickoff of Game of Thrones' fourth season.
The first season of Silicon Valley stars Thomas Middleditch, T.J. Miller, Zach Woods, Kumail Nanjiani, Martin Starr, Josh Brener, Amanda Crew and the late Christopher Evan Welch. Silicon Valley wraps its first season on June 1, while Veep's season three finale airs on June 8.
Silicon Valley airs Sundays at 10 p.m. on HBO with Veep following at 10:30 p.m.
