Merriam-Webster defines "bible" as "the book of sacred writings used in the Christian religion." In Keeping Up With the Kardashians, however, the term has a similar—but slightly varied—meaning.

Khloé Kardashian broke it down during a previously aired episode of the E! reality show. According to the 29-year-old, "bible" is a "word that you can't go back on." It means that people "can't say 'bible' and then not do it or lie." And yes, everyone plays along. "That's just the rule in the family," she said.

In short, it's an easy way to determine whether someone is telling the truth. When Rob Kardashian is suspected of cheating on his diet, for example, the "bible" test is employed. And when Kim Kardashian needs fashion advice, the "bible" test will reveal if her sisters are being nice to avoid a confrontation.
