All hail the Queen!

British photographer David Bailey released a new portrait of Queen Elizabeth II to mark her upcoming 88th birthday, with the monarch smiling wide and looking lovely in the black and white headshot.

For her photo session, the Queen wore pearls and a dress by Angela Kelly, who has served as a personal assistant and senior dresser for her since 2002.

According to the Press Association, the photo was taken at Buckingham Palace in March and was commissioned on behalf of the Government's GREAT Britain campaign, which aims to generate jobs and growth through highlighting Britain as a world-class destination for trade, tourism, investment and education.

Sunday, Queen Elizabeth II and her husband Prince Philip celebrated Easter attending worship at St. George's Chapel in Windsor Castle Sunday in Windsor, England, with the Queen all smiles as she waved to locals standing nearby.

According to the Telegraph, the Queen's son Prince Andrew, daughter Princess Anne and daughter-in-law Sophie, the Countess of Wessex, were among other royals in attendance.

The Queen's actual birthday is Monday, which will be marked with gun salutes in Central London at midday. Her official celebration will be held this summer, with her Trooping the Colour Birthday Parade kicking off June 14.
