Dr. McDreamy's getting a new babe in his life.

Patrick Dempsey and his wife, Jillian Dempsey, are expecting their second child together, the Grey's Anatomy star's rep said Wednesday.

The couple are already the parents of four-year-old Talula Fyfe.

Dempsey met Jillian in 1994, when he went into her salon for a haircut. They wed at his family's home in Maine in 1999.

Long before he found small-screen stardom, Dempsey was a teen actor who left school at age 17 and went on to appear in films such as 1987's Can't Buy Me Love.

After a series of made-for-TV movie roles in the '90s, he made a comeback in 2002, as Reese Witherspoon's fiancé in Sweet Home Alabama.

In 2005, he landed the role of hunky Dr. Derek Shepherd on ABC's hit medical drama. The show has since gone on to be a ratings sensation for the network and has earned Dempsey both a Screen Actors Guild and a Golden Globe nomination.

Despite his Hollywood success story, the actor has never forgotten his small-town roots in Maine and has said he wants to eventually move back there full time to raise his family.

"The older I get, the more I really desire to go back to that environment, especially with the child," he told Good Morning America in May. "You know, I talk to my wife daily on how I can't wait to move back there full-time and raise my daughter there."

With another child on the way, we're guessing country life is looking even more appealing.

For now, however, Dempsey has at least one good reason to stick around in Los Angeles.

The third season of Grey's Anatomy kicks off Sept. 21.
