It's a match made in TV heaven!

Shortly after Jenny McCarthy announced that she is engaged to Donnie Wahlberg on The View yesterday, Andy Cohen tweeted out his congratulations to the happy couple.

"Mazel to @DonnieWahlberg & @JennyMcCarthy! I feel a little responsible for this one…just saying! #ClubhouseLove"

Sherri Shepherd read the Watch What Happens Live host's tweet during the popular morning talk show to get a reaction from the bride-to-be herself.

McCarthy gushed, "We were actually considering asking him to marry us, so we will see!"

As it turns out, the engaged couple first met on the set of Bravo's Watch What Happens Live before flirting up a storm on McCarthy's now canceled Vh1 show. They took their romance public in July 2013.

The future spouses took to Twitter to thank their fans for the outpour of love and support following the happy news.

"Blown away by the love & well wishes! Nothing surprises me in life, but the support I've seen today is unreal," Wahlberg wrote late last night.

McCarthy followed it up by tweeting, "Thank you for all the sweet wishes. @DonnieWahlberg and I are grateful and blessed."

She added, "Reading your messages. So nice to see such happiness. Love my followers. Maybe we need to invite some of your to the big day."

This will be the second marriage for both. The New Kids on the Block singer was previously married to Kim Fey until 2008 and McCarthy was married to John Asher from 1999 to 2005.
