Tom Cruise Secretly Dating Laura Prepon? Not True, Says Source

Two have been romantically linked since November

Has Tom Cruise found love with Laura Prepon? 

That's the latest rumors according to Page 6, which claims the 51-year-old actor has been secretly dating the 34-year-old Orange Is the New Black star since November.

The tabloid reports that the two have been keeping their romance under wraps since their reported posh dinner date back in the fall (at the time, a rep for Cruise also denied any signs of a potential romance) noting that their relationship is "the buzz on the set of her show."

However, a source tells E! that there's no truth to the latest romance rumor, insisting that "the story is false." Additionally, E! News has learned that the two have never met.

Back in November, Grazia alleged that the duo, who are both devout Scientologists, went on a dinner date at The Renaissance at The Manor Hotel, where Cruise had a bottle of 1979 Merlot waiting on the table after he picked up Prepon in a vintage car.

"They spent three hours laughing and joking. It's clear Tom is smitten and after the date he was on cloud nine," the mag reported. "They had their second date at the restaurant, too, meeting for Sunday brunch, and then she accompanied him a few days later to a dinner party at John [Travolta]'s home."

Yet, when contacted by E! News, Tom's rep shot down any reports of a romance, insisting the claims were "false."

It's been about 20 months since Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes officially divorced after five years of marriage. The pair tied the knot in Nov. 2006 in a lavish ceremony in Italy.

Following the split, Cruise sued the publisher In Touch Weekly and Life & Style for stories that claimed the actor had "abandoned" daughter Suri Cruise. The $50 million defamation suit, filed against Bauer Media on Oct. 24 2012, was ultimately settled out of court in December 2013. 

Cruise currently stars in the Doug Liman-directed sci-fi flick Edge of Tomorrow, which hits theaters on June 6, 2014. Meanwhile, Prepon recently wrapped season two on the hit Netflix series Orange Is the New Black in which she stars as inmate Alex Vause.
