Prince George is officially the youngest most eligible bachelor around, thanks to one little lovely lady asking the 8-month-old to be his wife.

That's right, the third in line to the throne received his first—and probably not his last—marriage proposal during the royal family's visit to Wellington, New Zealand on Wednesday.

11-month-old Ruby Cate Blitz donned a delightful T-shirt with the message "Marry Me George," complete with a white tutu, the British flag and a big smile for the desirable prince.

Unfortunately, Prince William and Kate Middleton's son couldn't respond directly to Ruby because he wasn't at the final stop in New Zealand. However, the Duke of Cambridge did greet his potential daughter-in-law.

William enthusiastically chatted with Ruby Cate's parents before calling his wife over, calling the vivacious toddler "absolutely beautiful."

The future King of England was most recently spotted touching down in Sydney with his parents on Wednesday, looking adorable as always—right down to the supercute outfit he wore as his mommy held him at the airport.

William sported strikingly similar attire while in the arms of Princess Diana at Kensington Palace way back in 1983.  And looking just as sweet!

Upon their arrival, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge met with a legion of fans outside the Sydney Opera House. Later, George was presented with a wombat stuffed animal by Australia's Governor-General Sir Peter Cosgrove. Somewhat appropriate, of course, given how "wombat" was Diana's nickname for William when he was George's age.
