Kate Middleton's wardrobe choices are obviously a main topic of conversation during the royal family's three-week tour Down Under. In addition to debuting some bright, chic looks, the Duchess of Cambridge has also been switching up her hairstyle.

The 32-year-old royal is known for her perfect blowouts and wearing her long luxurious locks down for formal and sporting appearances. But Kate has opted for a half-up, half-down look during several stops, most recently when the family arrived in Sydney.

The fresh 'do isn't a dramatic change from her signature look: instead of her subtly curled tresses flowing around her face, several strands are loosely pulled back.

Perhaps the rainy temperatures is the reason behind the change, but let's face it: Kate's hair could never look frizzy or out of place.

New hairstyle aside, Kate did wear her silky strands naturally, without any bobby pins or elastics, at a state reception at the Government House in Wellington, New Zealand on Thursday.

The next Kate hair sighting will come on Thursday, when the Duke and Duchess will head to the Blue Mountains.
