Jaimie Alexander has been going through some major hair changes as of late.
First, back in February, the Thor: The Dark World actress chopped offher shoulder-length brunette tresses into a pixie cut. And now just two months later she has gone and dyed her short crop blond. Jaimie shared a pic of her new 'do, giving a shout out to the person behind her blond look, writing, "Big love to my beautifully talented friend @TraceyColorist #platinum"
Both mane makeovers are apparently for her upcoming, untitled HBO series. At least that's what we gather from hints from the star and her celebrity colorist Tracey Cunningham, whose clients also include Jennifer Lopez, Emma Stone and Drew Barrymore.
In addition to providing a full breakdown of how she achieved the platinum shade, on her Instagram, Cunningham also added that she "can't wait to see her new show on #HBO." When the actress—who is currently dating Peter Facinelli —first debuted her pixie she explained: "New hair for a new show! #OPEN #HBO."
Of course, there's no telling how long this new look can last. Although it has yet to be announced, we're pretty sure the 30-year-old will be returning to her role as Sif in the third installment of Thor and that means going back to black.
