UNICEFOrlando Bloom is using his fame in a positive way to bring attention to a serious issue.
The Hobbit: There and Back Again star and Goodwill Ambassador visited Jordan's Za'atari refugee camp near the Syrian border and met with families and children who have been impacted by the ongoing conflict in the region. While there, the handsome Brit attended a music class at the local UNICEF-supported school and danced with the kids.
"These children have witnessed more extreme violence than any child should," the 37-year-old father said. "What is most terrifying is that they become a lost generation. Without urgently needed education, protection and psychological support, their pain and bitterness will turn into aggression years from now."
Meanwhile, Drake traveled to Houston to grant the wish of 15-year-old Kennedy Brown, who was diagnosed with brain cancer over two years ago. The rapper surprised the high school freshman after her classmates began a Twitter petition petition using the hastag #DrakeforKen.
The musician posted a series of photos of his meeting with the teen on his Instagram account. In one pic, the 27-year-old puts his arm around his fan as they sit together on the couch. "Me and this beautiful angel Kennedy #kenfordrake," he captioned the shot.
In another heartwarming photo, Kennedy touches the superstar's face while he laughs. "She asked to touch the brows #accessgranted," he wrote.
