Justin Bieber Makes Surprise Appearance at Coachella With Chance the Rapper; Hearing Held in Connection With Singer's Assault Case

Pop star joins his fellow artist on stage, much to the delight of the crowd

Well, look who showed up at Coachella!

Yep. None other than Justin Bieber decided to grace the crowd with his presence when he made a surprise appearance during Chance the Rapper's set on Sunday.

Sporting a black T-shirt and bandana, along with a white bucket hat, the pop star joined his fellow artist on the song "Confident," much to the delight of those in attendance.

Earlier in the day, Bieber teased the appearance by tweeting, "What am i up to today?? ;).

He followed up later with, "That was fun" and "Surprise appearance at Coachella with@chancetherapper, along with an Instagram video of himself onstage dancing with Chance.

Meanwhile, over in Toronto, a hearing was held on Monday in conncection with the assault charge the singer faces there.

However, Bieber was not there, nor was he required to appear.

According to the Canadian Press, Monday's court session "saw lawyers provide additional disclosure in the case and decide to reappear in court on May 12."
