At last night's 25th Annual GLAAD Media Awards in L.A., Jennifer Lopez and Casper Smart enjoyed a date night while supporting a great cause.

The 44-year-old American Idol star, who was honored with the Vanguard Award, and her man were quite the cute couple while supporting LGBT rights.

Lopez hit the red carpet in a sexy blue and black dress that showed off her legs. After taking photos, the singer and Smart entered the Ketel One-sponsored dinner at the Beverly Hilton hotel holding hands. Once inside, J.Lo immediately hugged and chatted with Rita Moreno (her idol and the celeb who handed Lopez her big award) before sitting down for the show.

GLAAD awards host Ross Mathews kicked off the show with a hilarious joke about wanting to have sex with Lopez. "Honey, I'm gay but there's always room for J.Lo!" Mathews said from the stage as Lopez laughed at her dinner table with her arm around her man.

Later in the night, as Lopez accepted her award for supporting the LGBT community, the singer opened up about her late aunt Myrza, who was gay.

"I've always felt a tremendous love from the LGBT community and the LGBT community has always supported me and returned that love," Lopez said during her acceptance speech. "Marisa was my cool aunt. She was my mom's older sister and she lived in New York City. I lived in the Bronx and she lived in Manhattan, it was like worlds away! She wanted to be an actress and I always wanted to be like her. Marisa grew up gay in a time when it meant life could be very difficult and that her struggles were mostly kept t herself."

Other stars at the bash included Lupita Nyong'o, Ellen Page, Johnny Galecki, Eric Dane, Rebecca Gayheart, Naomi Campbell, Laverne Cox, Tatiana Maslany and Chaz Bono.
