Get ready to see Nikolaj Coster-Waldau like you've never seen him before.

The Game of Thrones star not only stars in the new romantic comedy The Other Woman, but he has a moment on screen that rivals Melissa McCarthy's pooping-in-a-sink scene in Bridesmaids.

In The Other Woman, Coster-Waldau plays a businessman whose wife (Leslie Mann) teams up with his mistresses to revenge his cheating ways. At one point—SPOILER ALERT!—Cameron Diaz (she plays his smokin' hot lawyer mistress) slips a laxative into his drink while they're out to dinner.

What ensues is a lot of audible gas and, well, a severe case of the runs in the restaurant bathroom.

Coster-Waldau had to perform the toilet bit during his audition with director Nick Cassavetes. "And the audition was on Skype," he told me when I chatted with him the other day at the Four Seasons Beverly Hills. "That was funny!"

So what's more uncomfortable to do on camera—dropping your pants on the toilet or having an incestuous Game of Thrones sex scene with a woman playing your sister?

"It's a lot more fun to have explosive diarrhea," Coster-Waldau said, laughing. "Sex scenes are just awkward no matter who it is and who she is playing. In this movie, I'm in bed with Cameron and also Leslie and it was fine because they're cool and professional, but it's always a little awkward."

During shooting, Coster-Waldau's wife of 16 years received an anonymous letter claiming that he and Diaz were having an affair after a paparazzi shot of them filming a kissing scene was believed to be real.

"That was weird," Coster-Waldau says. "But how can you not laugh about that? It's ridiculous."

The Other Woman is in theaters on Apr. 25. For more scoop from the film's stars, check out E! News tonight at 7 p.m. and 11:30 p.m.
