As you may have noticed, Johnny Depp hit the red carpet at the L.A. premiere of his new film Transcendence last night sans fiancée Amber Heard.
So why wasn't the engaged actor's gal by his side?
"My gal, she's working," the 50-year-old movie star told E! News' Catt Sadler exclusively last night. "She's working, yeah."
While Heard wasn't able to make it, her spirit was there in the form of Depp's diamond engagement ring, which he proudly showed off to us.
"I put the thing on and it somehow fused to me," he said of the "chick's ring," adding, "I don't know. I never really noticed that it was a girl's ring. I don't know."
Heard may not want to watch the video of our interview with Depp from last night's premiere, though.
