Anne Hathaway Picks Up a Rug Off the Floor and Wears It as a Coat

We're not so impressed with the Rio 2 voicer's decision to turn this floor cover into a coat

We swear Anne Hathaway is wearing the exact same fabric that covers the dining floor at our crazy aunt from Beverly Hills' house. Maybe you have a similar, modern art-loving member of your fam? She's always decorating with bold black aztec patterns from her annual trips abroad.

Did the Song One actress have a coat made to match her own relative's decor or is some designer creating coats from the contents of their auntie's attic?

We love a bold print, especially in black-and-white, but Anne's outerwear choice might be a bit too much given her typical, understated style. This feels like something Rihanna would wear (with a bra and underwear underneath) or maybe Gwen Stefani (with black leggings and her baby bump showing).

So as much as we want to commend this A-lister for stepping outside her clothing comfort zone, this feels more like a full-on fashion leap...in the wrong direction.
