Zach Braff's Kickstarter campaign for his latest film has been in the news for quite some time, and now fans can finally catch a glimpse of the funnyman's flick!

Nearly three months after its Sundance Film Festival debut, Wish I Was Here has released it's first trailer, showing the wild adventures of his character Aiden Bloom, a 35-year old struggling actor, father and husband who is trying to find his identity and purpose in life while also homeschooling his two children after being unable to pay for private school.

From choosing the perfect wig (the possibilities are endless) to costume parties and outer space expeditions (kinda), there's a surprise at every corner.

There's close to zero dialogue in the trailer, and instead viewers will find themselves listening to the tune of "Simple Song" by The Shins. The indie, which Braff co-wrote with his brother Adam J. Braff, directed and starred in, co-stars Joey King, Kate Hudson, Mandy Patinkin, Josh Gad and Ashley Greene.

"If this is the test case for this way of financing a movie, I want to set the bar really, really high," the Scrubs star, whose directorial debut was the 2004 flick Garden State, told E! News in August.

Gad added, "What fascinated me more than anything was the process of this Kickstarter campaign and getting the money through crowd-funding. It really does feel like you're making a movie for the people."

The film surpassed its goal by getting more than $3 million in donations.

Wish I Was Here hits theaters July 25.
