It's a good day for Seth Cohen fans. Dare we say it's like Chrismakkah?!

Adam Brody (also now known as "hubby" to one Mrs. Leighton Meester) is coming back to TV (sorta!) in a new Amazon dramedy pilot called The Cosmopolitans, about a group of young American expatriates in Paris searching for love and friendship. Chloe Sevigny, Carrie MacLemore and Dree Hemingway also star. Amazon announced the project today.

(That pretty much puts the final nail in Sevigny's A&E-turned-Lifetime series Those Who Kill now, doesn't it?)

This marks Brody's first series regular role since The O.C. bowed out in 2007. He most recently appeared on Fox's New Girl in a short run as Zooey Deschanel's ex-boyfriend. And of course, made headlines when he secretly married Gossip Girl star Meester in February.

The Cosmopolitans will debut later this year on Amazon Instant Video, as part of Amazon's third pilot season, and costumers will be invited to watch and provide feedback on the shows they want to see turned into full series.

NEWS: Adam Brody marries Leighton Meester!

Brody's series is joined by Hand of God, starring Ron Perlman, Dana Delany, Garret Dillahunt and Alona Tal. This will be Perlman's first role since he was killed off Sons of Anarchy, and he also serves as an executive producer on Hand of God (job security!).

Hand of God centers on Perlman as the powerful Judge Pernell Harris, who suffers a mental breakdown and goes on a vigilante quest to find a rapist who tore his family apart. With no real evidence to go on, Pernell begins to rely on "visions" he believes are being sent by God through Pernell's ventilator-bound son.

The O.C.'s other leading man, Benjamin McKenzie, was recently cast in the lead role of Fox's highly anticipated Batman origin series, Gotham.
