Lupita Nyong'o has been lying low since winning Best Supporting Actress at the Oscars.

That changed when the 12 Years a Slave star attended Marie Claire's Fresh Faces party at West Hollywood's Soho House. She posed for photos with fellow May 2014 cover girls Elle Fanning and Kate Mara.

Nyong'o, 31, looked predictably fashionable at Tuesday's event, donning a Giambattista Valli Couture dress, Christian Louboutin shoes and Graziela Gems jewels. She carried a Judith Leiber clutch.

The honoree Instagrammed a close-up of her manicure; she selected a Diana Broussard nail lacquer.

The red carpet lit up when Nyong'o arrived and everyone started screaming her name. Inside the party, she was all smiles while taking pictures with three pals, including two guys and The Walking Dead's Danai Gurira. The ladies stuck by each other's side throughout the night, a source tells E! News.

Nyong'o was most recently spotted at the Miu Miu runway show during Paris Fashion Week in March; she stars in the label's Spring 2014 campaign alongside Fanning, Elizabeth Olsen and Bella Heathcote.

The Non-Stop actress has yet to book a movie role since her Academy Award win. Last month, she met with Star Wars Episode VII director/producer/screenwriter J.J. Abrams, which ignited casting rumors.

Nyong'o will hit the red carpet yet again on Apr. 12 when she presents at the GLAAD Media Awards.
