Sara Gilbert is a glowing newlywed.

On The Talk earlier today, the co-host gushed about her recent wedding to longtime girlfriend Linda Perry, and along with dishing the deets on her special day and sharing some exclusive photos from the ceremony, Gilbert admitted to the audience that marriage feels more different than she had expected.

"It definitely feels different, like I thought it might feel a little different, but it feels more different than you'd expect. You feel like you're part of this institution and official and 'I better not mess this up!' You feel safer, in a way, like you've really committed," she explained.

And then came the gorgeous photos and inside details on the big day.

"It was really great. Our friends were so generous. They have this ranch-kinda thing that grows food in Malibu called One Gun Ranch and they let us use it. We thought it was gonna rain, and we just got lucky and it didn't. And it started at this cocktail party in the beginning, and we just kinda decided we wanted to all be together and enjoy people's company, because I think people miss that part of their wedding, and we wanted to bring everybody with us down the hill and have this communal feeling," she said.

Gilbert was also surprised by her ladylove before they tied the knot. "I thought we were gonna announce to everybody, 'All right let's all go down the hill, let's get married!' and she goes on stage and I'm thinking, 'Uh-oh,' then we had these strings playing and she sang the John Lennon song 'Love' and I didn't know that was gonna happen."

"So then we went to the ceremony. The person who was supposed to marry us unfortunately got sick that morning, so they'd flown somebody else, so it was all impromptu which made it kinda sweet and casual."

Gilbert invited her co-hosts, Sharon Osbourne, Aisha Tyler, Julie Chen and Sheryl Underwood, who thanked the star for letting them be a part of such a memorable occasion.

"Honestly, it's in one of those days having the people you love there that makes it so special," Gilbert responded. "And even for the people who weren't there, just feeling everybody's support and everybody joining us on the journey is what made it so incredible."

Gilbert and Perry got married on Sunday, March 30. The couple got engaged almost one year ago after the singer-songwriter popped the question at a Los Angeles park.
