Miranda Kerr may be separated from husband Orlando Bloom, but the Australian model continues to prove that their split is indeed an amicable one.

"He is a great dad and I feel really lucky to have him in my life," Kerr said with a smile on Monday's Good Morning America.

She added, "I think it's really important to have two happy parents and he is really happy and I am happy," she noted.

Kerr and Bloom have a son together, 3-year-old Flynn.

Kerr actually brought up the topic of happiness during a recent interview with British GQ as well, when she revealed to the mag, "I'm dating. I'm loving it. Two happy parents are better than two unhappy parents. This is my time to explore and have some fun. I'm not looking to fall in love again quickly."

Meanwhile, Bloom himself has also spoken positively about Kerr on quite a few occasions since the two announced their breakup in October 2013 after three years of marriage.

In fact, while receiving his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame last week, the actor graciously acknowledged his ex while speaking to those in attendance by thanking her for giving him the best gift ever—Flynn.
