Let's hope Fred Durst is doing it for more than the nookie.

The Limp Bizkit frontman announced via his MySpace page Thursday that he's going to tie the knot with "a wonderful girl named Krista from Rhode Island."

Durst met Krista Salvatore, 21, while he was in Providence directing and starring in the drama The Education of Charlie Banks, his first time helming a feature film. The 35-year-old "Break Stuff" auteur has directed a couple of Limp Bizkit music videos as well as projects for Staind and Korn.

"[Krista] said yes and I am now proud to say that we are engaged to be married," Durst wrote on MySpace. "I wanted to set the record straight...before it became something it is not. This is very special to me. I am loving life."

This will be Durst's second marriage. He and ex-wife Rachel Tergeson have a 15-year-old daughter, Adriana, and the rocker also has an almost-five-year-old son named Dallas from a past relationship.

After Limp Bizkit took off in the late '90s, Durst became quite the Casanova, getting linked--in the tabloids and in real life--to, among others, Alyssa Milano, Christina Aguilera, Pamela Anderson, Paris Hilton, Carmen Electra and Thora Birch.

Then there was the Britney Spears thing. Durst told Howard Stern in 2003 that he had been intimate with the pop princess while helping her produce tunes for her In the Zone album. Per Stern's onair prodding, Durst was happy to supply quite a few juicy details.

Spears denied the whole thing, with her rep calling the rumor "very junior high."

Durst also related via the Internet that he and Limp Bizkit are planning to hit the studio again after he's done shooting Charlie Banks.
